Abstract

Is food security a scientific challenge, a political failure, or a moral imperative? In this session, Nobel Laureates from different disciplines join forces to examine why hunger persists in a world of unprecedented knowledge and capacity. The following key questions will be asked: How do conflict, climate change, and economic inequality reshape global food systems? What can science and innovation realistically deliver? Where do governance, markets, and accountability fall short? How can global cooperation and the next generation of researchers turn resilience into reality? The session invites a candid debate on feeding a growing world with equity, sustainability, and urgency.
