Abstract
Striving to understand a fundamental process of life, while advancing from home experiments to pioneering original usage of most sophisticated experimental facilities, we shed light on the process of the translation of the genetic code, a basic and most important process, performed by universal cellular “factories”, the ribosomes. Our struggling included winning extremely demanding scientific battles that felt like reaching the Everest peak, just to discover that a higher Everest is still in front of us.
